Laura and Albert share one great passion: basketball. For years, it has been the thread running through their story—training, competing, playing, and growing together.
Laura dreamed of an elegant wedding and worried that incorporating basketball might compromise the aesthetic. Together, we found a way to blend both worlds with subtlety and style: white basketballs with gold detailing, refined sporting touches woven throughout the décor, and a grand finale that quite
literally ended with a winning basket.
The entire concept revolved around “Our Team”. Their seating plan introduced every guest as a member of the team that had supported them throughout their lives.
Their invitation offered the first clue. Guests received a beautiful mirror engraved with the words: “Everything this wedding needs is right here.” As they opened it, they discovered their own reflection—a reminder that they were an essential part of the celebration. The idea came from a story Laura shared with us. Before an important game she was coaching, her players were feeling nervous. She gave each of them a small box that read: “Everything you need to play your best today is inside.” When they opened the box, they found… a mirror.
There were deeply emotional moments, too. Candles accompanied the couple throughout the ceremony, seating plan and reception, honouring Albert’s parents and ensuring their presence was felt throughout the day.
To finish the celebration, guests were surprised with a basketball-shaped illusion cake and an extraordinary chocolate sculpture recreating a basketball court.
